I think that is what this is all about. The mother and son outside the window where concerned for his safety. Most people like their coffee HOT, and if he were to spill a bit on his bits... well... that would hurt. So they are locking him away for safety, his own protection. Way to go mom, keeping people safe in their own homes. Of course what was she doing looking in windows. Teaching her son the finer points of peeping tomage. On a similar note, when I went to art school. A pretty small school, located on a marina. We had naked figure study and we had the police come and tell us to cover the windows cause the neighbors were offended. Fair enough... except the nearest neighbors were about 200 yards off across a portion of the bay. I think they need to aim their telescope UP! Hot coffee and nudity is dangerous.
