I had the opportunity to help some friends work on a new restaurant/pub that they are hoping to open in the not too distant future.  It’ll be a Micro-Brew type pub feel with good eats and great drinks, They’ll be brewing their own beer thats very tasty.  It is located in the small quiet community just across a bridge from downtown Bremerton called Manette.  These friends have another eatery called Fritz Fry House, and there they deep fry pretty much anything and have some amazing in house fry dipping sauces.  Follow the link to their site and check out the menu.  It’s located at the Bremerton ferry terminal, so if you are in the seattle area hop on the ferry and check it out.  You will not be disappointed.  I promise.

But back to the new place and the reason I started this.  The Bar.  This has to be the coolest looking bar I have ever seen.  It is made of Bubinga wood.  It is also known as African Rose Wood.  I was struck by the character in this wood.  It’s mesmerizing.  Unfortunately for you the pictures I took were not in the best light since the place is still under construction, but I think it conveys the idea of what I saw.  I’ll try to head over there with my good camera and get a better pic.

It even looks good with beer on it.
